Sea Glass and Beachcombing Resources

Sea glass information and links to sea glass jewelry sites. Sea glass starts out as broken bottles whose shards end up in the ocean. The action of the waves and sand buffs the sharp glass pieces into smooth, colorful pebbles that look like little gems.

This site has articles and how-tos as well as software that I've written. My Postfix FAQ and lots of other Postfix articles are available as well as general system administration and programming information.

Site News

October 9, 2009 - Updated the look of several pages. I'll be migrating all pages to this new format over the next few weeks. I also added new resource sections to the sea glass pages.

August 16, 2009 - Changed home page to provide links for accessing both technical articles and code as well as sea glass links.

July 20, 2009 - Added dynamic detection of referrer queries to the Postfix FAQ page. If the query looks like one of the topics that has summary information, the summary is displayed at the top of the page. I wrote about it in the O'Reilly blog.

July 6, 2009 - Replaced Google Friend Connect commenting system with a homegrown one.

June 28, 2009 - I've just revamped the site with new navigation, slight layout changes and new features. I've added a comments system and some new content.
