as broken bottles whose shards end up in the ocean. The action of the
waves and sand buffs the sharp glass pieces into smooth, colorful
pebbles that look like little gems. So much so, that artisans put them

Jersey. My glass comes from as local as New Jersey beaches to Northern
England for their gorgeous multis! I started this as a hobby 3 years

Exquisite authentic Sea Glass Jewellery using Sea Glass harvested from the shores of the North East of England. Every piece is unique and depends on what the tide has placed on the shore, because of this I never know what my next piece of Sea Glass Jewellery will consist of in both design and colour.
The beauty of this glass is indescribable; it's heavily frosted sometimes with a range of colours within one piece of glass. Most of the time all the edges are nicely rounded. This is caused by the action of the waves rolling the piece across on the sea bed for over a hundred years.
I collect all my own Sea Glass, sometimes on all fours for up to six hours at time. The drill process is very time consuming so the Jewellery cannot be mass produced. Each piece is unique in its design and my aim is not to produce quantity but quality. I never know what I will harvest next until I am kneeling on the shores, sometimes being caught by a rough wave!

She Sells Sea Glass is a showcase of my handcrafted sea glass jewellery and homewares. I'm located in Hobart, Tasmania - Australia. I use 60% Tasmanian sea glass with the balance made up of English and US sea glass. I also love using and sea pottery and china in my jewellery and homewares.
I work with recycled silver and copper and where possible I will make my own findings. My shop currently has homewares only, but jewellery will be added soon. The galleries show most of the items I have for sale.

Peblsrock Seaglass
Peblsrock is a source of sea glass and jewellery made using sea glass all of which is sourced from the beach at Seaham, below the site of the Candlish Bottle Works, once the largest facility of it's kind in Europe. The factory closed almost 100 years ago, but the legacy of all the waste and rejected glass that was hurled into the sea at the end of each day is still emerging on the beach as pearls of colour, well rounded, some in multi colours, others that shimmer and glow. First and foremost I am an artist. I have a degree in Fine art and love all forms of art. Lately my passion is hand knitted Fine Silver wire jewelry. I have found sea glass as a great medium with my knitted work and make all sorts of jewelry with it. I do not drill holes in the sea glass, I know one of my customers was so happy that the glass was kept intact, as a collector I can reassure you this. I get sea glass from all over the world.
